Around the Guinness Storehouse

The Guinness Storehouse is one of Dublin's most popular destinations. Located within the Guinness St. James Gate Brewery, you can go to the Gravity Bar, which has one of the best views of the city, and learn about the 250 year history of Guinness that started right at that spot. Pub culture is a huge part of life in Ireland, and Guinness dominates pub culture there.

At €13 a head, however, we settled with wandering the semi-labyrinthine streets around the Storehouse instead. Besides, our apartment was about three blocks away and was on the way to one of our bus stops, so we saw the area quite a lot.
