Spring In the Northwest

Time marches inexorably forward, as you can see in my photo blog, albeit much slower than in real life. For this post I've combined two smaller sets of photos taken in March and April of 2019. The first was taken during a quick weekend getaway to Portland, and the second was few weeks later, at a resort on Hood Canal to which Alex craved an escape, called Alderbrook. I must confess to often having trouble feeling comfortable at such accommodations, but Alderbrook's location is truly a natural wonder. I ended up quite enjoying the visit to the Sound's south end.

So here is a my story of those remote days, which seem so relatively care free now. It seems unbelievable to think that way, but here we are in late summer of 2021.
